Party & Car Show
September 13, 2008
We would like to remind you that the Pig 'n' Piston is not just a car show. We call it a Car Event with much more. We offer contests with prizes for show car participants and spectators alike. There are many special door prizes for our show car entrants and cash prizes to be awarded to pre-registered participants. So keep in mind that pre-registration could be worth cash!!
Admission is FREE for every child 12 and under with any paid entrant. Children will receive a wrist band with their parent's registration (spectators and show car) and are then eligible to participate in our free pony rides and fishing contest. So don't leave the kids at home. It's about them too! We ask that you please be with your children at all times.
Admission is $10.00 again for 2008 for spectators and show car participants. We will again have our delicious roast pork sandwiches for sale this year for $2.50 and brats and hamburgers will be $1.50 each. Soda pop will again be served FREE to all our paid guests and their children.
We will have beer for our 2008 event. We stopped serving beer in 2007 due to Town Ordinance. Cowboy Bob can't sell or give beer away. Well, it's just not a Wisconsin party without beer! So the Fond du Lac Area F.A.C.E.S. Athletic Booster Club will provide their services this year and all proceeds from their sales will go to support their activities. You will find the price per glass or pitcher to be more than fair. We thank the F.A.C.E.S. members in advance for their help. We will still require that all guests who have beer be of legal age and that no one drinks to excess and that all conduct is safe and responsible.
The free fishing contest is for kids 12 and under. Mom or Dad must be with the young kids but no one is allowed to catch fish for their children. There will be no fishing prior to the start of the contest. Worms will be furnished. Be sure to bring a fishing pole for each child 12 and under. Our contest is too cool for your kids to miss! We will have kids bikes for prizes again this year. Don't leave your kids or grandkids home! The contest will start about 1:00 and go until about 2:00. Exact times will be announced. All fishing is catch and release.
Also free to children 12 & under are pony rides from about 12:00 to 1:00 pm. It’s a very safe activity and helmets will be available. Bring your camera!

There is plenty to interest kids. Candy - Pop - Fun!
All FREE. Don't leave 'em home!
There are great DOOR PRIZES for show car entrants and DJ Trivia Question PRIZES to be given away throughout the day to spectators and participants. So study up on your trivia and come to Win!
Back by popular demand, our special friend and DJ, Bob Freund will be spinning 50’s plastic and conducting trivia contests all day. We have lots of prizes and give-aways for you to win. Come enjoy him with us! Bob is more than just a DJ. Bob will be on hand until about 3:30, at which time Cowboy Bob's son Joe will take the stage for about an hour. At 4:30 the fishing contest prizes and all awards will be given. After all prizes are awarded, Joe will light our bonfire with his little deuce coupe. Everyone enjoys the bonfire at dusk so please try to stay for that.

Also per popular request, again this year we will have our good friend and "Hot Rod Artist" Thom Petersen at the show. Plan to take time to view his work. What a talent! Preview Thom's work at his Web site.
We will have 2008 Pig 'n' Piston T-shirts for sale this year and a few from 2007 at a reduced price.
We will host an open house again this year to give you horse lovers a chance to tour the stable and arena. Other than this time period, the stable will be restricted to staff only. Listen for the announcement as to when the stable will be open.
We ask that there be no smoking in any building. This policy will be strictly enforced. We also can't allow any pets on the grounds. Sorry. Please understand that our safety regulations and requirements are all for good reasons. Thank you.
The day's events will end at 9 p.m. and we hope that you can all stay until then and enjoy the evening with us. We ask that all drink responsibly. Area lodging is available.
Check out the rest of the Web site and try to make it this year. It's not just a car show! It's fun stuff -- food, horses, ponies, cash prize drawings, cool cars, great tunes, great door prizes, and nice folks. We hope you can come and enjoy it all with us.
Remember spectators and show car participants are welcome.
All entrant fees are $10.00 per person.
Kids 12 and under are free.
Something for everyone!
Bring the kids and the fishing poles.
See you Saturday, September 13, 2008.
Don't forget the CASH prize drawings for ALL pre-registered, paid entrants.
